In the wake of recent protests and riots due to violence toward black Americans, a group of Bay County clergy and Christian leaders (black and white), including Pastor Craig Carter of the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church, have joined together to discuss how to move forward as a Christian community. Together, the group crafted a Statement of Unity as an affirmation of the importance of Black American lives and livelihood, and many additional Bay County pastors and Christian leaders have added their signatures.
