Our first Easter after Hurricane Michael was nothing short of breath-taking. If you were there, you saw how our God-given vision of worshiping on the grounds of the destroyed Transmitter campus - a vision that was admittedly quite risky - came to fruition in a way that ONLY God could have orchestrated.
We are so thankful for the beautiful sunny day after torrential rains on Palm Sunday and gale-force winds on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. For the nearly 1400 in the main worship service plus 175 at our Sunrise Service and 300 children at the egg hunts. For the hands that prepared and served approximately 1500 meals. For the two baptisms. For the 225 people who attended our Good Friday Tenebrae service. For the hundreds of servants who made it all possible.
And above all, we are thankful for Christ who defeated sin on the cross and conquered death through His resurrection. Jesus our Lord is the sole reason for our hope! Out of the ashes, we most certainly will rise.
