Empowered to Connect teaches Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI)® methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross at Texas Christian University. TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention system that uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors.

Due to COVID-19 and limitations on in-person gatherings, this training event is available for individual or family viewing for parents, caregivers, ministry leaders, and professionals. Registration at the link above is required.

Whether you’re a foster or adoptive parent, teacher, faculty, counselor, caregiver or anyone in need of resources to help with children who have been abused, neglected or suffered trauma, Empowered to Connect will be a great resource for you.
This event is free! Continuing education and relicensing hours are available!
