We hope to fill up the camp with 20 of our families for a weekend of fun, fellowship, family time all while admiring and enjoying God’s beautiful creation outdoors!

Who can come?

Any family that has a child in AWANA. There must be at least one parent per family unit attending.  Siblings who are aged out of AWANA can attend with a family unit.  (Activities will be geared toward Cubbie/AWANA age kids.)

Cost: $125 per person which includes 2 nights lodging, 5 meals, snacks & all activity supplies (everything you’ll need for a fun-filled, memory making weekend with some of your church family! Your family can choose to have non-family members join their family unit for the weekend, all must register.  If we do not fill up with AWANA families, we will open it up to any families that attend our church.)

How do I sign up?

All registrations will be online at Register each person who plans to attend by placing a $45 deposit per person.  The remaining balance will be split into two $40 installments to be charged 3/16 & 4/13.  (Or you can pay in full when you register). Register today! Once all 20 family units are filled, we will start a waiting list.

Where will I stay?

Dogwood Acres has 10 air conditioned, very comfortable cabins.  Each has 2 sides that are separated by a lockable adjoining door, with their own bathroom and 4 beds, sleeping 4-5 comfortably (cots are also available if needed).  Families can sign up to reserve one of 20 available family units (or side of a cabin).  All meals will be cooked and served by the Dogwood Acres staff.

What will the weekend look like?

We are busy planning lots of activities for the weekend to include campfires, games, archery, challenge course, canoeing, fishing, devotions, and so much more!  Families will drive up to Dogwood on Friday afternoon between 3:30-5:30 to get checked in, settled and to check out the camp!  We will have dinner and family activities that night.  Saturday will be packed full of outdoor fun for the family to enjoy together, while taking time to appreciate the Great Creator of it all!  On Sunday we will have a short devotion and prayer time together and be ready to have things cleaned up to leave by 11:00.
