The mission of the United Methodist Men of Lynn Haven UMC is to assist men to know Jesus Christ, to serve Him, to grow spiritually and seek daily to do His will.  We invite you to become a part of our movement to build and maintain strong Christian relationships and establish a culture of men helping men get closer to Christ.

The United Methodist Men are engaged in every aspect of the church.  You will see them on Sunday mornings as ushers and lay pastors, praise team members and Sunday School teachers, greeters and nursery volunteers.  But being a part of the UMM goes way beyond Sunday.  Members connect with ongoing activities such as:

  • Small Group/Bible Study – Thursday Mornings @ 6am in the Fellowship Hall

  • Fundraising events – Smoking ribs, Charity golf games, cooking pancakes, etc.
    Proceeds from these events have gone to support Relay for Life, Lynn Haven UMC Youth Group, Hardly Able Construction, and many other worthy causes

  • Man Events (fun, male-bonding activities) – Shark fishing, skeet shooting, archery, paintball, etc.
  • Annual Fall Men's Weekend- The United Methodist Men host an annual Men's Weekend in the Fall.  This years event is scheduled for October 16-17th.

The UMM also gather monthly, on the fourth Monday of the month, to enjoy a meal, engage in fellowship, and obtain spiritual growth while planning  fund raisers and mission work that make a difference right here in our local community. Quick note to Fathers with Children:  Bring your kids on Monday night.  We can arrange for child care while you attend the Methodist Men and you can give mom a break.  Please use the sign-up sheet at the sign-up center or contact Chris Morton if you are bringing a child.
