A: Our estimate right now is 4-8 million dollars, but our Building Committee has options to make adjustments in the final plans depending on how God provides through this campaign.
Q: When will construction begin?
A: Due to current economic conditions, we are proceeding with this project, but at a much slower schedule. This date is yet to be determined. Construction should take about one year to complete.
Q: How long does this campaign last?
A: You will be encouraged to make a three-year financial commitment.
Q: When can I begin to contribute to this campaign?
A: Pledge cards were originally received on Commitment Sunday, November 18, 2007. New pledges may be submitted at any time.
Q: How does my pledge effect my regular giving to the Ministry Budget?
A: The pledges that are made to this three-year campaign are intended to be above and beyond your regular giving to the church. Your regular giving to the Ministry Budget is essential to maintaining the operation and ministry of the church. Your commitment to the campaign is a sacrificial offering in addition to that.
Q: Can I give things other than cash? Property? Securities?
A: Yes, many times this can offer tax advantages. You may contribute stock, mutual funds, real estate, vehicles or other items.
Q: Can my commitment be revised later?
A: Absolutely. As financial and spiritual conditions dictate, your pledge may be adjusted up or down at any time during the campaign.
